Experienced Financial Leadership — Working Directly With You

How I Work

My approach is practical and hands-on. I don’t operate as a distant advisor — I work directly with clients and stay closely involved in the details.

Depending on the situation, that may include:

  • Owning month-end close and financial reporting

  • Cleaning up and stabilizing accounting records

  • Improving cash flow visibility and forecasting

  • Building budgets, financial models, and executive reporting

  • Designing and implementing internal controls

  • Supporting lenders, investors, and external auditors

My goal is always the same: provide clear, dependable financial information that leadership can trust and act on.

I’m a CPA and finance leader with over 16 years of experience helping businesses gain clarity, control, and confidence in their financials.

I work with founders, business owners, and leadership teams who need experienced CFO or Controller support but don’t yet need — or want — a full-time hire. My role is to step in, take ownership of the finance function, and provide clear, reliable information that supports sound decision-making.

Over the course of my career, I’ve worked with companies across a wide range of industries and business models, with a particular emphasis on manufacturing, construction, retail, and professional services.

I began my career in public accounting, where I worked in audit and developed a strong foundation in GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls. I later moved into industry and consulting roles, serving as a Controller and CFO for small to mid-sized businesses.

Over the past decade, I’ve worked primarily in a fractional capacity, helping companies strengthen their financial operations without the overhead of a full-time executive. This model allows clients to get senior-level experience, flexibility, and focus — exactly where and when it’s needed.

Who I Work With

I typically work with:

  • Small to mid-sized companies without in-house CFO leadership

  • Organizations experiencing growth, complexity, or transition

  • Business owners who value clarity, accountability, and practical solutions

Engagements may be project-based, interim, or ongoing, depending on the needs of the business.

Background

How I Price My Work

I typically work at an hourly rate of $100 per hour, depending on the scope and nature of the engagement.

Large accounting firms often bill similar work at $200+ per hour due to internal overhead and staffing structures. As an independent advisor, I’m able to provide the same level of senior CFO and Controller support without that overhead — allowing clients to receive experienced financial leadership at a more practical cost.
